Famous German actor Christian Oliver—performed in films like Valkyrie and Speed Racer—died in a plane crash along with his two daughters.
According to media reports, German actor Christian Oliver's small plane crashed into the water off the coast of the Caribbean island on Thursday, killing him along with his two young daughters Madita 12, and Enke 10.
The airplane owner and pilot Robert also died in this accident.
According to the authorities, four bodies have been removed from the wreckage of the plane after the accident, while the investigation of the accident is still going on.
The single-engine plane crashed Thursday afternoon after taking off from an airport on the small Caribbean island of Bequia en route to neighboring St. Lucia, said the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force in a statement. Shortly after take-off, the aircraft encountered difficulties and plunged into the sea.
Born in Germany, 51-year-old Christian Oliver starred alongside Steven Soderbergh in ‘The Good German’, Cate Blanchett and George Clooney in 2008's ‘Speed Racer’ in Valkyrie alongside Wachowski.
