Parvez Elahi admitted to hospital due to chest pain

Rawalpindi: Former Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has taken to the hospital from Adiala Jail on Saturday because of chest infection.

According to the jail authorities, complete medical checkup of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) president Elahi is required.

Parvez Elahi has been under medical observance on daily basis in the jail’s hospital. Last week, his thallium scan turned out to be clear in the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology (RIC).

It is pertinent to note that he is in jail because of many cases against him including money laundering and allegations of illicit involvement in Punjab assembly.
