E-domicile facility introduced in KP
With the facility of e-domicile, citizens will not have to wait long in the offices and they will also get rid of heavy travel expenses.
Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government introduced online system of domicile certificate for the convenience of people in different districts of the province.
Under the introduced e-domicile system, any citizen can apply for domicile by visiting the website cfc.kp.gov.pk on mobile or computer and attach the required documents. The applicant will give his fingerprints to NADRA and thus his data will be saved with the government.
With the facility of e-domicile, citizens will not have to wait long in the offices and they will also get rid of heavy travel expenses.
On the other hand, the government will have access to all the information of the citizens at the village council and neighborhood council levels. People expressed happiness at the facility of getting domicile at their doorstep.
It is being stated that centers will be setup by the government for illiterate people in different districts of the province where they will be explained the procedure to apply for e-domicile.
Moreover, after making the domicile online at the divisional headquarters, it will gradually be extended to all the districts of the province and within two months, the old procedure of issuance of domicile will be completely abolished.
