Noida: During the cricket match in India, the player died of cardiac arrest on the pitch, the video of which went viral.
According to foreign media, 34-year-old Vikas Negi was on the pitch to bat during a local match in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
In the video, Vikas Negi was seen stepping forward to encourage fellow player Umesh Kumar after he hit him for a boundary.
It can be seen in the video that as soon as Vikas reached Umesh Kumar, he fell on the ground due to the intensity of the pain, after which the other players of the team surrounded Vikas and the medical team also reached the ground to take him out.

It is being reported that he was taken to a nearby hospital in Noida where doctors tried to save his life but he could not survive.
According to media reports, Negi had scored 07 runs off six balls at the time of the tragic incident.
