According to the media reports, in the first T20 match, the Pakistani team under the leadership of Shaheen Afridi will enter the field with four fast bowlers.


The trophy for the series of five T20 matches between Pakistan and New Zealand has been unveiled.
Pakistan captain Shaheen Afridi and Kiwi captain Kane Williamson participated in the unveiling of the T20 series trophy.
It is pertinent to note that the sketch of the Pakistan cricket team has also been designed for the first T20 against New Zealand in Auckland.
According to the media reports, in the first T20 match, the Pakistani team under the leadership of Shaheen Afridi will enter the field with four fast bowlers. Apart from captain Shaheen, the fourth fast bowler will be Amir Jamal along with Haris Rauf and Zaman Khan.
It is also reported that Mohammad Nawaz will be preferred over leg-break Gigli bowler Usama Mir in the first T20I, while Saeem Ayub will open the innings with wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan.
The former captain Babar Azam will play at number three, while the aggressive Fakhar Zaman has agreed to play at number four, reportedly.
Reports told that Azam Khan will play as a wicketkeeper if he joins the eleven-member team.
Notably, the first match of the five-match T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand will be held in Auckland on Friday, January 12 and Shaheen Afridi will lead the national team for the first time.
To prepare for the T20 series against New Zealand, Pakistan cricket team had a practice session that lasted for three hours in Auckland in which all the players participated.
