The PTI leader regrets that they had approached the Supreme Court for level-playing field but they have been deprived even of the field in the upcoming elections.

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Sardar Latif Khosa said that the Supreme Court’s verdict caused damage to the democracy, saying that the coming generations would face the consequences for this.
Sardar Latif Khosa said that it is not just the PTI’s right but the rights of the 225 million peoples have been violated.
“The PTI leaders are being made fun of over the electoral symbols this time,” said Khosa, pointing out that this is the clear indication of the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) dishonesty. He said that 220 members of the party were taken away from the PTI by not awarding the Bat symbol. The PTI leaders were given strange types of electoral symbols.
“The decision at 11:30 pm in the night deprived the PTI’s of level-playing field for the upcoming general elections,” said Sardar Latif Khosa. He stated that they have been ousted from the parliament.
“Did you ever hear from anywhere in the world that a constitutional institution went to jail and framed charges against anyone?,” he asked the reporters, regretting over what he said biasness of the ECP towards the PTI.
He also said that the PTI was deprived of even the field, saying that they approached the court for level-playing field.
“This is not the PTI’s rights but the rights of the people have been violated,” he added.
It may be mentioned here that the PTI earlier in the day withdrew its plea from the Supreme Court filed to see level playing field. The PTI counsels said that they did not want such plea in the court of Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa.
Earlier, the top court allowed the ECP’s appeal against the verdict of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) regarding dispute involving the Bat symbol of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). A SC three-member bench led by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa had passed the order. Subsequently, the PTI was going to the election without the bat symbol.
