Dunedin: Pakistani fast bowler Abbas Afridi will miss the upcoming third T20I against New Zealand amid to a low-grade abdominal wall muscle sprain, prompting uneasiness.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) affirmed that scans showed no crucial injury. However, Afridi will undertake symptomatic supervision. His presence for the remaining two matches will be decided later.
This absence causes an important setback for the team, as Afridi, was the leading wicket taker for team along with Haris Rauf irrespective that they have been in lost causes.
