Sachin strongly reacts to viral deep fake video

Mumbai: A deepfake video of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar went viral on social media, seemingly promoting a gaming app.

In the manipulated video, Sachin's voice is edited to suggest, 'My daughter is playing the game Skyword Aviator Quest and earning a daily income of 180,000 Indian Rupees.'

Sachin expressed surprise at how easy it became to earn money, emphasizing that the application is entirely free and can be easily downloaded by any iPhone user. After the video went viral, Sachin Tendulkar issued a statement on Twitter categorically labeling it as fake.

These videos are fake. It is disturbing to see rampant misuse of technology. Request everyone to report videos, ads & apps like these in large numbers.
