Lahore: The final list of candidates for general elections 2024 on 44 seats of National and Provincial Assembly from Lahore has been released.
According to the details, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Friday released the lists after the decisions of the petitions filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) against the decisions of the Election Tribunal, according to which 1079 candidates are contesting for 44 seats of the National and Provincial Assembly from Lahore.
According to the released lists, 266 candidates will contest on 14 seats of the National Assembly of Lahore, while 813 candidates will try their luck on 30 seats of the Provincial Assembly.
National Assembly Constituency NA-120 will have maximum 27 candidates and NA-118 will have minimum 18 candidates.
Provincial Assembly seat PP-161 has maximum 46 candidates and Provincial Assembly seat PP-150 has the least 13 candidates.
