CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana said that legal action will be taken against aerial firing, display of weapons and illegal activities.


Lahore: The police of Lahore has designed a security plan for the peaceful conduct of general elections 2024.
According to the details, more than 30,000 officers and personnel will be deployed for security duty at 4,300 polling stations in the city. More than 4,000 lady police will also perform duties on polling day.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana said that legal action will be taken against aerial firing, display of weapons and illegal activities.
Special gates will also be established for the security of polling stations, reserve force personnel will be present to assist the Lahore Police on election day.
