The lowest temperature in the country was recorded at -11 degrees Celsius in Skardu during the last 24 hours.


Lahore: The Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has predicted the risk of drought due to lack of winter rains.
According to the PDMA, the risk of drought is increasing due to lack of winter rains and there is severe dry winter across the country.
The PDMA has predicted that after December, January is also about to end without rain and snowfall, which poses many threats from dry winter.
On the other hand, the lowest temperature in the country was recorded at -11 degrees Celsius in Skardu during the last 24 hours.
Besides, Kalam -7, Gilgit and Astor -6, Chitral, Hunza, Rawalakot, Quetta -3, Chakwal -2, Islamabad 02, Peshawar and Bannu 03, Lahore, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan 05, Sukkur, Mithi, Sargodha 07 and Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius.
Apart from this, the mercury in Pak-Afghan border areas dropped 07 degrees below the freezing point.
