Govt to provide full support to ECP for transparent polls: Tarar
The caretaker minister of communications says this during a visit to the control room established in Ministry of Interior for monitoring of security arrangements and law and order situation during general election.
Islamabad: Caretaker Minister of Communications Shahid Ashraf Tarar on Tuesday said the caretaker government would provide full support to Election Commission to conduct transparent elections in the country.
He stated this during a visit to the control room established in Ministry of Interior for monitoring of security arrangements and law and order situation during general election.
Shahid Ashraf Tarar assured to take all possible measures for the maintenance of security and law and order situation in the country during general elections.
The coordinator National Action Plan briefed the minister in detail about the functioning of the control room.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has appointed Shahid Ashraf Tarar as Chairman of Committee for Security and Administrative Affairs of General Elections.
