Islamabad: Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood has tested positive for novel coronavirus.

The news was confirmed by the Minister himself on social networking site, Twitter.
“I have tested positive for coronavirus,” the minister wrote.
He further added, “I feel fine with mild symptoms. InshAllah will get well soon”.

On the other hand, several politicians have so far tested positive for coronavirus including Prime Minister Imran Khan, President Arif Alvi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ayaz Sadiq, Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz, Sania Nishtar, Saeed Ghani, Aamir Liaquat Hussain, Nehal Hashmi, Marriyum Aurangzeb and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
