The PTI leader says that his 82-year-old father was arrested for organizing a rally in NA-129 Lahore.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Hammad Azhar on Sunday alleged that his father former Governor of Punjab Mian Azhar was arrested.
Hamad Azhar wrote in a statement released on social media that his father was arrested on the orders of a cowardly and fearful government.
Hamad Azhar stated that 82-year-old Mian Azhar was arrested for organizing a rally in NA-129 Lahore.

On the other hand, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Fareed Paracha condemned the arrest of former Governor of Punjab, Mian Muhammad Azhar, stating that Mian Azhar is a seasoned politician and a noble character.
