Islamabad: The spokesperson of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Tuesday said that the printing of ballot papers will be completed by February 2, while the delivery of ballot papers has already started in all four provinces.
After the meeting chaired by the Chief Election Commissioner, it has been stated in the announcement that the preparations for holding the general elections on February 8 are rapidly progressing towards completion. The printing of ballot papers is progressing satisfactorily which is underway in three government presses.
The statement said that the printing of ballot papers started on January 16 after the allotment of election symbols.
Apart from this, delivery of ballot papers is being done with the help of security agencies, Returning Officers (ROs) and District Aid Ministry.
