Bilawal promises to bring agricultural revolution if his party elected o power
The PPP chairman outlines plans to provide direct assistance to farmers through the implementation of a Kisan Card system.
Dera Ismail Khan: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday vowed to spearhead an 'agricultural revolution' aimed at supporting farmers if his party ascends to power.
Bilawal outlined plans to provide direct assistance to farmers through the implementation of a Kisan Card system. He pledged to abolish the Rs15 billion subsidy currently allocated to 'elites' annually, redirecting these funds towards public welfare initiatives if the PPP secures victory at the polls.
He expressed these remarks while addressing a public gathering in Dera Ismail Khan ahead of the 2024 General Elections.

Highlighting the PPP's track record in Sindh, Bilawal pointed to the provision of free medical facilities across the province as a testament to the party's commitment to public service. He called on the residents of Dera Ismail Khan to support the PPP, advocating for similar advancements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Bilawal underscored the importance of prioritizing public welfare over elite subsidies, proposing the issuance of a 'Kisan Card' to better serve agricultural communities. Emphasizing the significance of the upcoming February 8 elections, Bilawal urged citizens to reject divisive politics and embrace a vision of unity and progress.
