Dera Ismail Khan: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday vowed to spearhead an 'agricultural revolution' aimed at supporting farmers if his party ascends to power.
Bilawal outlined plans to provide direct assistance to farmers through the implementation of a Kisan Card system. He pledged to abolish the Rs15 billion subsidy currently allocated to 'elites' annually, redirecting these funds towards public welfare initiatives if the PPP secures victory at the polls.
He expressed these remarks while addressing a public gathering in Dera Ismail Khan ahead of the 2024 General Elections.

He called on the residents of Dera Ismail Khan to support the PPP, advocating for similar advancements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Bilawal underscored the importance of prioritizing public welfare over elite subsidies, proposing the issuance of a 'Kisan Card' to better serve agricultural communities. Emphasizing the significance of the upcoming February 8 elections, Bilawal urged citizens to reject divisive politics and embrace a vision of unity and progress.
