Islamabad: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has reserved its decision on the request to increase the power prices 5Rs per unit.
According to the details, power distribution companies had submitted a request to NEPRA to raise the price of electricity by 5Rs per unit for the quarterly adjustment for October to December 2023, which was heard in NEPRA.
Member Nepra Rafiq Sheikh asked how much was the burden due to the violation of the merit order and the difficulties of the system.
