ECP rejects speculations of elections’ postponement
It should be noted that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had called an important meeting in view of the law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan.
Islamabad: Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has said that there is no possibility of postponing the upcoming general elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, the elections will be held on February 8.
According to the details, after the Election Commission meeting Sikandar stated that it has been decided in the meeting that the elections will be held on February 8. Election Commission has provided a level playing field to all political parties, the use of Election Management System (EMS) is for transparent and fair elections.
