As per the schedule, PTI's intra-party elections will be held on February 5, Monday.


Islamabad: The official schedule of intra-party elections of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been released.
Federal Election Commissioner of Tehreek-e-Insaf Rauf Hassan has released the schedule of intra-party elections.
As per the schedule, PTI's intra-party elections will be held on February 5, Monday in which all registered members of party can vote for their preferred panel or chairman candidate at the allotted seats.
Party members can also register their vote through 'Rabta Application Intra-Party Election Module'. All registered members of PTI can cast their votes for the panel or chairman candidate of their choice at the allotted seats.
All members registered till January 31 will be allowed to vote, details of all panels participating in intra-party elections will be available on PTI's official website and Rabta application.
According to PTI's Federal Election Commissioner Rauf Hassan, the detailed procedure of the election is explained in the Election Rules 2020 which is available on the website and Rabta app.
As per the schedule, polling time will be from 10:00am to 4:00 pm. The elections’ venues and date of appellate tribunal will be announced today (February 1). The nomination papers can be obtained from PTI central secretariat or website from February 1 to 2. The last date for submission of nomination papers is February 2 till 10:00pm.
According to the schedule, the candidates will be able to submit their nomination papers to the central and provincial secretariats and digitally through e-mail till February 3 at 10:00pm.
The lists of all the final panels participating in the intra-party election will be published on the website at 4:00pm on February 4 and the intra-party election will be held on February 5. The results will be officially announced on Tuesday, February 6.
