Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced a public holiday on February 8 amid the upcoming general elections across the country.
According to the details, ECP has issued a notification regarding of public holidays in connection with upcoming polls.
According to the notification, February 8 has been declared a public holiday.
The Election Commission said that the purpose of the public holiday is to enable voters to exercise their right to vote freely and conveniently.
