The petition stated that the court passed the judgment in violation of Section-367 of the Penal Code.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan Thursday approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) for the certified copy of the verdict in the cypher case.
According to the details, Imran Khan has filed a petition in the IHC through Barrister Ali Zafar.
It has been stated in the petition that the trial of the cypher case has been conducted against the legal requirements. There are legal defects in the trial of the cypher case and the lawyers of the accused were not allowed to cross-examine the prosecution witnesses in the trial.
The petition stated that the court passed the judgment in violation of Section-367 of the Penal Code.
In the petition, it is appealed that the special court be directed to provide copies of all the evidence, interim and final orders.
