Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar said that the intra-party elections have been postponed following the instructions of Imran Khan.

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Friday postponed the intra-party elections to be held on February 5.
According to the details, Tehreek-e-Insaf yesterday issued a schedule for the intra-party election, according to which the elections were to be held on Monday, February 5, but now the election has been postponed by PTI, which was confirmed by Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan.
Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar said that the intra-party elections have been postponed following the instructions of founder PTI Imran Khan as the elections can divert the attention of candidates and voters from the general elections.
It is pertinent to note that PTI appointed Rauf Hasan as the Chief Election Commissioner for the intra-party elections.
