Caretaker Punjab chief minister engages with faculty members and commended the noteworthy progress that MUST have achieved in providing advanced facilities for higher education and cutting-edge scientific research.


Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Multan University of Science and Technology (MUST), acknowledging the institution's pivotal role in delivering technology-based education with a focus on high-quality research and educational facilities.
During his visit to various sections, the CM engaged with faculty members and commended the noteworthy progress that MUST have achieved in providing advanced facilities for higher education and cutting-edge scientific research.
Emphasizing the critical need to bolster the enrollment of nursing students, CM Naqvi highlighted the heightened demand for nurses not only within Pakistan but also on an international scale. He assured the university of the government's full cooperation in addressing this need, expressing a willingness to collaborate closely.
Looking ahead, the chief minister expressed optimism about the pivotal role a state-of-the-art private university like MUST could play in advancing higher education. He envisioned MUST carving out a distinctive identity for itself in southern Punjab.
Dr. Arshad and Muhammad Ali Gardazi briefed about the university. Provincial Minister Mansoor Qadir, IGP, secretary health, secretary C&W, commissioner Multan, ACS (southern Punjab), and others were also present.
