Karachi: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunder in Karachi today (Saturday).
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in the city of lights and the rain will continue till February 4 (Monday).
The Meteorological Department stated that cold winds are prevailing from the northeast direction. The minimum temperature of the city was recorded at 16 degrees Celsius while the current temperature is 18 degrees Celsius.
Apart from this, the maximum temperature of Karachi city is likely to go up to 26 to 28 degrees.
According to the Department of Meteorology, winds are blowing at a speed of 08 kilometers per hour in Karachi, the humidity in the air is 54 percent.
According to the Air Quality Index (AQI), the quality of air in the city is still bad and unhealthy, the amount of pollutants in the air is being recorded at 172.
Karachi is ranked at fourth position in most polluted city in the world, added AQI.
It is pertinent to note that earlier on yesterday, it rained early in the morning in different areas of Karachi.
II Chandrigar Road, Shara-e-Faisal, Sadar, Old City Area, MA Jinnah Road, Gulistan-e-Johar, Gulshan Iqbal and other areas also received light and heavy rain in some places.
