Peshawar Traffic Police also prepares plan for elections
The traffic authorities stated that special arrangements are being made to restore the flow of traffic.
Peshawar: The traffic police has also prepared a plan for the general elections to be held in Peshawar on February 8, 2024.
According to traffic police officials, it has been decided to deploy heavy personnel to maintain traffic flow.
Traffic officials said that three Superintendents of Police (SPs) and 11 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) will be posted in different sectors, while more than 1,000 traffic officers and wardens will also be performing the duties.
The traffic authorities further stated that special arrangements are being made to restore the flow of traffic. A heavy contingent of traffic police will be deployed on the roads to provide travel facilities to the citizens and avoid any kind of traffic jam.
