Karachi: The power breakdown at Hub Pumping Station has caused a crack in Hub Canal. The Water Corporation stated that the water supply to Karachi from Hub Canal is temporarily suspended.
CEO Water Corporation Engineer, Syed Salahuddin Ahmed issued orders to the Water Corporation officials to complete the repairs of the Hub Canal on an emergency basis.
Water Corporation officials said that the repair of the canal will be completed in 72 hours.
Moreover, due to the crack in the Hub Canal water supply from Hub will be temporarily suspended in West District and Kemari District, while water will be supplied from the alternative line of K-3 in the respective areas.
