Areej Chaudhary, Miss Pakistan World, speaks up about her success story
Areej expresses gratitude to her supportive family and looks ahead with enthusiasm, saying that “From modeling to pageants to dramas and now movies, the last three years have been a bliss, and I am looking forward to what the year 2024 holds for me,”.


Lahore: Areej Chaudhary, hailing from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has evolved into a source of pride for Pakistan, carving her path in the realms of beauty, modeling, and acting. Her story serves as a testament to the notion that success is achieved through persistent dedication to one's dreams.
Born on May 7, 1997, in Saudi Arabia, Areej initiated her educational journey at Springhill International School in Jeddah. Subsequently, she returned to Pakistan to complete her O Levels at Bloomfield Hall School. Her academic pursuits led her to Comsats University in Lahore, where she explored the intricacies of Psychology. However, it was her burgeoning interest in modeling that altered the trajectory of her life.
Areej's introduction to the modeling industry unfolded as photographers and fashion industry professionals took notice of her distinctive charm. Despite the flood of offers, she remained committed to completing her education before wholeheartedly embracing the opportunities in the world of fashion.
From a family deeply rooted in business, Areej's father oversees translation companies Mikdoss Translation & Langspark Translation in Dubai, UAE, and Qatar. The youngest among two elder brothers and a sister, Shah Hassan Chaudhary and Muhammad Hussain Chaudhary, are engaged in cosmetology and the family translation business, respectively. Her sister, a designer, is happily married in Multan, Pakistan.

Residing in the Bani Gala area of Islamabad, Areej's journey took an unexpected turn when she discovered the Miss Pakistan World pageant. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, she applied and, in August 2020, was crowned Miss Pakistan World, marking a historic moment as the first winner chosen from Pakistani soil.
Endowed with Kashmiri heritage, Areej's captivating looks earned her the opportunity to represent Pakistan in prestigious international pageants such as Miss Earth 2020, Miss Global 2022, and Miss Eco International 2022. Her aspirations continue to soar as she sets her sights on additional international pageants in the upcoming year.
Following her studies and a successful modeling and pageant career, Areej shifted her focus to Karachi to pursue her passion for acting. She made her mark in the industry with roles in dramas like Maahi followed by Sitam, Sirat-E-Mustaqeem,Wo Paagal Si, Makafat, Inteqaam & Dhikhawa,Oye Motti,and the list goes on.
Additionally, she ventured into the film industry, completing four movies by 2023 Andkaar, Aar Paar, Dhaai Chaal, with "Jinna Teri Marzi" scheduled for release in 2024.
Beyond her professional achievements, Areej remains grounded and actively contributes to social causes. An avid animal lover and horseback rider, she serves as the ambassador for the JFK Animal Shelter in Lahore. Her philanthropic efforts extend to visiting hospitals and bringing smiles to the faces of cancer patients at the Indus Hospital in Karachi and the Sundus Foundation in Lahore.
