Lahore: The Lahore Traffic Police has announced not to issue any challan on nation identity cards till February 8.
According to the details, the purpose of this move is to save people from any kind of trouble in the voting procedure. However, the action on violation of traffic rules will continue as usual.
Chief Traffic officer Amara Athar stated that there will be no challan on the identity card of any citizen till February 8 amid the upcoming general elections.
In this way, the citizens do not face any difficulty in voting, those who already have had challan on identity card, they can receive their cards from 7 am to 11 pm.
Therefore, Citizens can submit registration book and license as security in case of challan. Besides this the citizens can withdraw documents by submitting a quick challan with the digital challan system.
