Peshawar: Security measures have been completed by the police for the upcoming general elections ahead on February 8.
According to the details, 10 thousand police officers will provide security duty on the election day while 4 police officers will be posted at the normal polling station.
The officials stated that there will be 5 police officers at the sensitive polling station and 7 police officers at the most sensitive polling station. 8,676 police officers will be deployed for the security of all the polling stations.
Moreover, the activities of miscreants will be closely monitored and the sensitive institutions will be effectively protected. Further steps will be taken to bar hateful material on walls and in the form of pamphlets.
