Google’s special doodle for Pakistan elections 2024

California: On the occasion of the general elections in Pakistan, the world's popular search engine Google also changed its doodle.

Voters will choose candidates in 855 constituencies of National and Provincial Assemblies through polling starting at 8:00am which will continue till 5:00pm without any break.
More than 128.5 million voters are exercising their right to vote across the country while contest is taking place on 264 seats of the National Assembly and 591 seats of the Provincial Assemblies.
For the democratic process, 90,675 polling stations have been established across the country, in which 16,766 have been declared highly sensitive while 1.490 million election staff are on duty.
Original CNIC is mandatory for voting. Vote can be cast on expired ID card as well. The day marks the public holiday across the country.
