Islamabad: Association of Electronic Media Editor and News Director (AEMEND) has raised concerned by blocked mobile services amid polling day (Thursday) across the country.
According to the details, AEMEND stated that journalists are facing various problems due to blocked mobile and internet services. There is a big challenge in giving results related information to public.
AEMEND said that it is the basic right of the nation to know the current situation in their country. That’s why the mobile and internet services are significant.
Association further said that despite the rejection from the caretaker prime minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the internet and mobile phone services got suspend.
