Islamabad: Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan on Thursday extended congratulations to the nation on the peaceful conduct of elections.
Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja expressed gratitude to the public, local administrations, and political parties while also thanking security agencies and civil administration.
Sikander Sultan, the Chief Election Commissioner, further stated that it is hoped that all stakeholders will demonstrate responsibility in completing the important task of compiling and transmitting the election results promptly.
He mentioned that a part of our responsibility has been fulfilled as the preparation for the unofficial results after polling has commenced.
He stated that the polling process was carried out without hindrance to any citizen's right to vote, and where issues arose, the concerned Presiding Officer would provide Form 45 at the Returning Officer's office.

Prior to this, while speaking to the media at the Election Commission office, Chief Election Commissioner Sikander Sultan Raja said that the elections across the country were 100% transparent, peaceful, and safe. No voter was stopped anywhere in Pakistan, and it is believed that the results of these elections will be accepted.
