Rawalpindi - The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday expressed hope that the 2024 general elections will mark a significant step forward for democracy in Pakistan, aligning with the aspirations of the populace.

The armed forces reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace and security, pledging unwavering support to uphold Pakistan's democratic traditions. Through proactive intelligence operations and swift responses, security agencies neutralized numerous potential threats, underscoring their steadfast dedication to safeguarding citizens' democratic rights. Additionally, five terrorists were eliminated in various operations.
