The Election Commission says it has not issue what it says the statements being run by the TV channels.

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday directed the provincial election commissioners, returning officers to ready and announce the results within next 30 minutes.
The ECP also warned that it would take strict action against them if the results were not announced within half an hour.
The commission in its statement made it clear that the results being run on the TV channels were not issued by the commission itself.

Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja who reached the commission office said that the results announced by the commission would be acceptable.
Earlier, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had expressed serious concerns over slow results but he hoped that his party and the independent that he said they supported showed good performance.
