Maryam Nawaz wins Punjab Assembly seat from Lahore
Independent candidate Maher Shrafat was second with 21,491 votes.
Lahore: The chief organizer of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz has won from Punjab Assembly Constituency 159 Lahore.
According to the unofficial and inconclusive result, Maryam Nawaz of PML-N won in PP-159 Lahore by getting 23,598 votes.
Independent candidate Maher Shrafat was second with 21,491 votes.
It is pertinent to note that after the polling in the general elections in the country, the counting of votes and the results are going on.
The polling process for the general elections continued from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Thursday and million of people exercised their right to vote.
