NA-47 result: Shoaib Shaheen submits application to ECP

Islamabad: A candidate supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shoaib Shaheen submitted an application to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Shoaib Shaheen, an independent candidate, has submitted an application to the Election Commission on the issue of the results of NA-47 Constituency of Islamabad.

The text of the application read: “According to Form-45 I have won the election of NA-47, the screen installed outside the Returning Officer’s (RO) office was also suddenly shut down, we have noticed that our results have been changed in favor of Tariq Fazal”.

Shoaib Shaheen further said in the application that he provided evidence to the returning officer but he is in denial. ‘I am present outside the RO office, I have not been allowed to enter, orders should be given to the RO to issue the results as per form-45’.
