The PML-N Supremo says the PML-N has emerged as the largest political party in the recent election, but acknowledged that they lacked a simple majority to form a government independently.
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif has called upon political parties and independent candidates victorious in the elections to come together and collaboratively form the next government to navigate the country out of crises.
Nawaz Sharif revealed that he assigned Shehbaz Sharif to engage with Asif Ali Zardari, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui to pursue this objective.
Addressing supporters at the party's secretariat in Model Town on Friday, Nawaz Sharif emphasized that the PML-N has emerged as the largest political party in the recent election, but acknowledged that they lacked a simple majority to form a government independently.

He extended an invitation to all winning parties to join hands for the betterment and development of Pakistan.
However, Nawaz Sharif did not mention Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) during his speech. He commended the dedication of the workers, expressing optimism for a brighter and more enlightened Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif congratulated the winners and extended respect for the mandates of all political parties and candidates.
Highlighting PML-N's commitment to a prosperous Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif stressed the importance of unity and harmony for national development. He urged all institutions, including the judiciary and media, to contribute to the country's progress.
Nawaz Sharif affirmed Pakistan's status as a nuclear power and emphasized the need for responsible discourse. He emphasized his party's track record in service to the nation and vowed to address issues such as electricity bills, petrol prices, and education expenses.

Looking ahead, Nawaz Sharif urged party leaders to address constituents' concerns and reaffirmed PML-N's commitment to serving both Punjab and the nation at large. He praised Shehbaz Sharif's efforts for youth empowerment, promising to continue initiatives like providing laptops to the youth.
Nawaz Sharif encouraged political leaders to engage in politics as a form of service and assured the public of better days ahead for Pakistan.
Nawaz Sharif regretted the premature perceptions formed after initial election results and emphasized the importance of meeting people's expectations. He underlined the need for a collaborative approach to national development and cautioned against prolonged political battles.
