Recent elections most controversial in country’s history: Babar Awan
The PTI leader says pre-poll Rigging continued for two years, then Yahya Khan's model emerged.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Babar Awan has declared the general elections as the most controversial in the country's history.
Babar Awan said that these were the most controversial elections in Pakistan's history.
"Pre-poll Rigging continued for two years, then Yahya Khan's model emerged," said Babar Awan while talking to the reporters on Sunday.
He said they challenged the results of candidates from Sargodha and Faisalabad before the competent forums. Our candidates have won in all these constituencies, he claimed.
He said that Nawaz Sharif had been trying to win by force since February 9. PTI has won by a heavy majority in the election and possessed the majority in 179 constituencies.
Babar Awan further said that they did not accept the decision of February 9. The international world including Australia, America, and the UK also rejected February 9 results.
