It should be noted that Firdous slapped to a police officer in the polling station of Sialkot.

Cop slap case: ECP directs Firdous to submit reply by Feb 15

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has directed Istehkam Pakistan Party’s (IPP) leader Firdous Ashiq Awan to submit his reply till February 15.

According to the details, ECP has heard the case of Firdous Ashiq Awan in which she slapped to a police officer.

Firdous said that as a Pakistani a candidate should have the right to visit the polling station. Our voters were standing outside the polling station.

IPP’s leader stated that she has seen the polling station’s gallery was closed. A person wore civil dress was calling people inside. She has no idea who the person was.

She further said that she talked with the police officers. She asked to ECP that Does law allow police to fraud with people’s mandate?

Member Commission Punjab inquired to Firdous that does law allow her to slap a police officer? Firdous replied that the law does not allow her to slap to a police officer that’s what she apologized for.   

It should be noted that Firdous slapped to a police officer in the polling station of Sialkot.
