Babar Azam maintains supremacy in ICC ODI rankings

Lahore: Babar Azam maintains his supremacy in the ODI batter rankings, holding a formidable 824 rating points.
Despite his stronghold, a trio of Sri Lankan players showcased remarkable performances against Afghanistan, making notable strides in the rankings.
Charith Asalanka's unbeaten 97 in the second match propelled him five places up to 15th, while Pathum Nissanka's impressive double century in the series opener earned him a significant 10-spot leap to 18th.
Sadeera Samarawickrama's elegant half-century helped him climb six positions to 41st. Shubman Gill secures the second spot with 801 rating points, followed closely by Virat Kohli at third with 768 points.
In a significant turn of events, Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi usurped Shakib Al Hasan to claim the top spot in the ICC Men's ODI All-Rounder Rankings.
Nabi's splendid century against Sri Lanka propelled him to the pinnacle, ending Shakib's five-year reign. Nabi's remarkable performance also elevated him to seventh place in the ODI bowlers' rankings.

Kane Williamson continues to dominate the Test rankings for batters with an impressive 883 points, bolstered by twin centuries in the first Test against South Africa.
Babar Azam occupies the fifth spot with 768 rating points. Kiwi pacer Kyle Jamieson's outstanding six-wicket haul against South Africa propelled him six places up to eighth in the Test rankings. Furthermore, he ascended two spots to 13th in the list for Test all-rounders.
Australia's triumph over the West Indies in a 2-1 series victory brought notable changes in the T20I rankings. Glenn Maxwell, Tim David, and David Warner made significant advancements in the batting rankings, while West Indies' Rovman Powell and Johnson Charles also witnessed upward movement.
