The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) seeks a report from the returning officer within three days.

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday postponed the notification of the victory of National Assembly candidate Awn Chaudhary from Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).
The ECP sought a report from the returning officer within three days, and a decision was reserved on Salman Akram Raja's application.
Independent candidate Salman Akram Raja's application was decided upon by the Election Commission of Pakistan yesterday.
In a separate development, re-polling at some polling stations in NA-88 Khushab, PS-18 Ghotki-I, and PK-90 Kohat-I will be held on Thursday (tomorrow).
Election Commission of Pakistan had ordered re-polling due to pilferage, snatching, and burning of polling material in these constituencies.
Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab Ejaz Anwar Chauhan presided over a meeting in Lahore today and reviewed the preparations for re-polling to be held at 26 polling stations of NA-88 Khushab.
