Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 2,482 cases of coronavirus were reported while 67 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 20,607.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 913,784.
As many as 834,566 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,132 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 337,775 in the province with 9,925 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 314,158 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,988.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 131,411 in the province with 4,025 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 24,908 confirmed cases while 273 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 19,060 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 536. On the other hand, there are 5,545 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 80,927 cases in the capital city while 753 people have lost their lives.
