Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Friday decided to let independent candidates join their own party instead of other parties.
According to the details, a meeting of the core committee of PTI was held in which it was decided that independent candidates of PTI should join their own party instead of any other party.
On behalf of PTI, it has been decided in the meeting that a petition will be submitted in Peshawar High Court (PHC) which will state that PTI is a registered party and its candidates contested the election without their electoral symbol ‘bat’.
It was decided in the meeting that it should be stated in the petition that High Court should issue orders for the specific seats of PTI. The task has been assigned to Advocate Supreme Court and senior jurist Qazi Anwar in this regard.
