Peshawar: Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) consultation for government formation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is underway. After announcing the names of Chief Minister and the Speaker, the party leadership is also consulting regarding the names of the ministers.
According to the details, new faces are being added along with old faces in the provincial cabinet which is likely to recruit 14 ministers, five advisers and 10 special assistants.
The party members who lost the election, Taimur Jhagra and Kamran Bangash will also join the cabinet in which Taimur will join as health minister and Kamran as sports and culture. The current speaker Mushtaq Ghani will be appointed as education minister.
The names of Shakeel Khan, Khaliq-ur-Rehman and Arif Ahmedzai are also being considered. Fazal Shakoor, Zahir Shah Toro, Meena Khan and Syed Qasim Shah are also strong candidates.
While, Babar Swati, Akbar Ayub, Faisal Amin Gandapur and Anwar Zaib are also candidates for the provincial cabinet.
On the other hand, the nominated Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said in a meeting with the Bajaur delegation yesterday that during the election campaign, one of our young leaders, Rehan Zaib, was martyred in Bajaur. The workers should trust that they will track down the murderers of Rehan Zaib and will lead them to comeuppance.
