Qaiser Sharif further said that Siraj-ul-Haq had resigned from the Jamaat-e-Islami after failing to score success in the elections.


Islamabad: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JIP) spokesperson Qaiser Sharif said that a decision will be taken on the resignation of party chief Siraj-ul-Haq according to the constitution of party.
He informed that a meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Majlis-e-Shoora will be held in Lahore under the chairmanship of Deputy Ameer Liaquat Baloch.
According to Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan spokesperson Qaiser Sharif, the resignation of JI chief Siraj-ul-Haq will be considered in the meeting.
Qaiser Sharif further said that Siraj-ul-Haq had resigned from the Jamaat-e-Islami after failing to score success in the elections.
The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq had accepted the responsibility for the failure, added Qaiser.
