PTI leader Barrister Gohar said that the statement of Commissioner Rawalpindi is very serious.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan Saturday demanded an immediate inquiry into the allegations of rigging in general elections made by Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaqat Ali Chattha.
PTI leader Barrister Gohar said that the statement of Commissioner Rawalpindi is very serious. If the commissioner made the victorious candidates lose, then he should tell about the winning candidate also. We had expressed concerns regarding Returning Officres (ROs) and District Returning Officers (DROs) who should have been taken from the judiciary.
He further said: ‘If we go for the new election, we will have to open the whole pandora box. We are winning seats according to form-45, all political parties including PTI have form-45, the results should be declared according to form-45. The election in Rawalpindi Division should be annulled’.
