Election Commission of Pakistan also notifies the names of 93 candidates who returned to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.


Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Sunday notified thirty six returned candidates for the National Assembly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The list includes one candidate each from PML-N, Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians and Majlis-e-Wahdat ul Muslimeen and thirty three independents from different constituencies.
Election Commission of Pakistan on Sunday also notified the names of 93 candidates who returned to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
The 93 candidates included two candidates from PPP and three from JUIF while all the remaining are independent candidates.
The notification has asked all the independent candidates to join a political party within three days of the notification under proviso of sub-clause-C of Clause-3 of Article 106 of the constitution.
