Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) has postponed plea of dismissal elections' results by February 21.
According to the details, a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Musrat Hilali are also part of the bench.
Brigadier retired Ali Khan has withdrawn his plea regarding dimissal of February 8 general elections' results and re-poll.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP)Qazi Faez Isa stated that the applicant should be in court.
Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar said that the applicant was already appealed for withdrawl his plea on February 13.
The court assistant told that the court has tried to take the applicant's phone number and address to work on his plea on which CJP remarked that at first the applicant filed their request and then they vanished for no reason. Is this application was filed only for having attention?
Qazi Faez said that he will hear this case now in any case the applicant must be appeared in court. The applicant by himself issued his request on all over the media and now he is nowhere.
Justice Musrat replied that the application regarding elections' dismissal was filed only for the television.
CJP said that this is not gonna be work. He directed to the additional attorney general that he needs to make a phone call to the applicant.
'We cannot make Supreme court's a joke,' he added.
However, SC had issued a notice to petitioner Ali Khan for today's hearing.
