Rain increases intensity of cold in Punjab including Lahore

Lahore: There was light rain in the provincial capital Lahore and its surroundings, as a result of which the weather became pleasant.

Different areas of Lahore including Shimla Pahari, Lakshmi Chowk, Gawalmandi, Qurtaba Chowk, Davis Road, Mall Road, Ichhra, Qainchi, Chongi Amar Sadhu, Gajumata, Islampura, Bund Road, Anarkali, Shalamar Bagh, Model Town, Johar Town, Gulberg and other places in the city including Garden Town received drizzle.

There was light rain in Kasur, Patoki, Muridke, Sheikhupura and other cities too. The cold wind blowing with raining clouds increased the intensity of cold. The minimum temperature in the country was recorded at minus 4, Leh and Kalam at -3, Bagrot and Hunza was at -1 degree Celsius
