Islamabad: The Federal Police have issued a warning deciding to take action against those who spread misleading news related to the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
According to the Islamabad Police, some elements are trying to disrupt public order under the guise of rumors.
In this regard, it has been stated that citizens should not be part of any such activity, otherwise action will be taken against those who provoke illegal factors.
It is pertinent to note that the decision given by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa on February 6, 2024, on the bail application of the accused arrested in the blasphemy case, gave rise to a systematic campaign against him on social media, in which now the religious parties of Pakistan have also joined.
Declaring the decision of Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa to be against the constitution and religion, serious charges like blasphemy are being made against him.
In this regard, a statement issued by the Supreme Court on Thursday, February 22, regret was expressed over the 'organized campaign' against the judiciary.
According to the Supreme Court, the impression that the Supreme Court deviated from the second constitutional amendment (definition of Muslim) or asked to abolish the provisions of the Penal Code of Pakistan regarding crimes against religion is wrong. Organized campaign against the judiciary or judges under the guise of criticism is deplorable.
